The raven story began 2001 in a village named Lilyvalley (Lilienthal). The adult wild  raven (title photo) caused a traffic chaos when he came to me. Later this corvus corax was stolen by a so called animal welfare activist. This son of the devil put the wild bird in a aviary. This raven-docu tells the story of a restored raven by God.

"Noah shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath curse" said Lamech, the father of Noah (Gen. 5:29). Later on Noah opened the window of the ark and he sent forth a raven (Gen. 8:6-7), the father of all ravens today.

In Hebrew the raven is also the raven because "b" and "v" is the same (more). That is the beginning of the word raven, which means "to become evening".

"Noah wird uns trösten in unserer Mühe und Arbeit auf dem Acker, den der HERR verflucht hat" sagte Lamech, der Vater Noahs (Gen. 5:29). Später öffenete Noah das Fenster der Arche und sandte einen Raben aus (Gen. 8:6-7), den Vater aller heutigen Raben.

Im Hebräischen ist der Rabe auch ein Rabe (mehr). Das ist der Ursprung des Wortes Rabe, welches so viel heißt wie "Abend werden".

"For [it is] the day of the LORD'S vengeance, [and] the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion. And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch. It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever. But the cormorant and the bittern shall possess it; the owl also and the raven shall dwell in it: and he shall stretch out upon it the line of confusion, and the stones of emptiness. They shall call the nobles thereof to the kingdom, but none [shall be] there, and all her princes shall be nothing." (Isaiah 34:8-12).

"Denn es kommt der Tag der Rache des HERRN und das Jahr der Vergeltung, um Zion zu rächen. Da werden Edoms Bäche zu Pech werden und seine Erde zu Schwefel; ja, sein Land wird zu brennendem Pech werden, das weder Tag noch Nacht verlöschen wird, sondern immer wird Rauch von ihm aufgehen. Und es wird verwüstet sein von Geschlecht zu Geschlecht, daß niemand hindurchgehen wird auf ewige Zeiten, sondern Rohrdommeln und Igel werden's in Besitz nehmen, Nachteulen und Raben werden dort wohnen. Und er wird die Meßschnur darüber spannen, daß es verwüstet werde, und das Bleilot werfen, daß es öde sei. Und Feldgeister werden darin wohnen, und seine Edlen werden nicht mehr sein. Man wird dort keinen König mehr ausrufen, und alle seine Fürsten werden ein Ende haben" (Jesaja 34:8-12).

Please note that if ever a bird gets into your house the best thing you can probably do for the bird is to get the bird out as quick as possible.

Sollte jemals ein Vogel in dein Haus gelangen, bitte bedenke, er ist nirgendwo schlechter untergebracht, als in einem von Menschen bewohnten Raum.
